Seventeen is a bellbottomed serif typeface named after the best number (I promise I’m not biased).

Drafting the Letterforms
Serifs are f*cking hard
I’m a pretty indecisive person. It took me way longer than it should have to choose if I wanted to design a serif or sans-serif for my first typeface. Ultimately, as you can tell, I chose a serif because I like the personality they hold. However, I didn’t realize how hard they were to design... especially taking into consideration this project only spanned five weeks. Big yikes.
